Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer I (DevOps) to join our growing engineering team in India. You will play a crucial role in automating and improving our infrastructure and deployment processes. This position requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, scripting, and cloud technologies. You will be working closely with other engineers to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and improve our CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of our systems using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
• Contribute to the improvement of our DevOps processes and culture.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability.
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
